Ive never owned a playstation and was waiting for ff7 for xbox and then it gets released on a playstation exclusively. I mean how can ya blame them. But I say that to say, I hear you completely

Cool thing about these SSDs being the norm for consoles, is it enables games to be multi genre all within the same level or scene... in ways we have never seen before

Thing is both new consoles use fast SSD. One loads faste . It’s not HDD vs sdd here. The true benefit is that we finally have SSD as a minimum. Devs no longer have to code for lowest common denominator (HDD). both systems will have minimal to no load times 

I know exactly who you're referring to. It makes sense and reminds me of difficulties devs had programming for ps3. But time will tell
