Yeah when a team has armed guards in the paddock during the day and a setup that rivals and is bigger on some occasions than a factory team’s setup, you begin to question things.

It’d be smart. So would GT Convergence finally happening. BMW would be the only one I’d change from your idea and keep it as is with M4 as GT4 and M6 as GT3 and then whatever the GTE car is next year will be that. 

The GT manufacturers just keep killing the classes. While GTE struggles, GT3 has become a manufacture extravaganza and GT4 is already approaching late 2000s GT3 levels of interest and cost!
