The Ferrari 458 GTE took part in its final international race today, the European Le Mans Series Four Hours of Monza. Fittingly, JMW Motorsport put the car on the top spot of the GTE podium, giving the team, and that same chassis, the honor of claiming the type’s first win in 2011 and its last in 2017. JMW will move…
Made the trip down to Walmart for the first time since I moved back to Massachusetts. This one actually has a good selection of Hot Wheels, so I finally got my hands on the Ford GT road car and race car. I decided I wasn’t going to get those two online, I needed to get those two the old fashion way.
EDIT: Reposting for the night shift. What cars in GTA Online have the most visual modifications? Cars, trucks, SUVs, etc.
I’ve always been a fan of some of the wacky modifications that were done to the cheap cars that Clarkson, Hammond, and May drove in the specials. The Range Rover Classic from the Bolivia special probably being my favorite. If you’ve forgotten what the cars were, here’s some of them, after the A-Team welding sequences:
Yeah admit it, on occasion it’s fun to laugh at the the woes suffered by McLaren from their Honda power units. But imagine being Honda and having all five of your Super GT works cars fail over a race weekend. While one suffered failure during practice, the remaining five continued on as normal until the formation…
The Viper is dead. Long live the Viper.
Petrolicious did an article last year about one of the few Ruf CTR Yellowbirds in the US. I hadn’t seen it until today, and felt is was worth a share.
That I don’t want a 996 and that the Gulf livery is overused when suddenly:
Do yourself a favor, Oppo. If an F-16 or similar aircraft does go down and you want to grab a piece, don’t. Stay the fuck away.
Video of the European Le Mans Series Prologue from Monza has hit the internet, and 19Bozzy92 has once again delivered! This video is best played with headphones in. While there isn’t much race car footage as he takes us for a walk around Monza, the sound is incredible, with the new Gibson powered LMP2s, the Nissan…
Think about the cars you see on a daily basis. What’s the most common manufacturer you see on the road that no longer produces cars? I’ll include manufacturers who no longer sell cars in the US as well, such as Suzuki.
What the anti grief did you say to me you Isetta? I’ll have you know I won at the top of my racing league and I’ve led numerous leader boards, and over 300 podiums. I’m trained in bump drafting and am wicked in my Alfa 33. You’re nothing but an assist using bitch. You think you can hide in your dirty laps and virus…
Yep, that’s right! An example of the infamous DeltaWing is for sale. While it’s no longer eligable to race in IMSA, it’s earned its place in historic racing.
Friday was my last day of service in the United States Army. Once I’d received by certificate of Honorable Discharge and said my goodbyes to all my friends and coworkers, I began my trip home, from Kansas to Massachusetts. Nonstop, the 1500+ mile drive would take about 23 hours.
Oh wait, I’m inside my barracks room packing up and cleaning to move to another building, only to do the same next week. Except that time as much as possible* will be going into the Saab.
Fuck Rio. That is all.
Post fighter jets and race cars!
Went out to get lunch today and came back with an East German AK-74 bayonet instead. Needed a new blade for my hiking gear anyway and I figured why not grab something a little interesting. Curse you pawnshops for having such cool stuff! Anyone else buy anything interesting this weekend?
