I will not deny that it's a moral wrongdoing and a crime, but it just can't be sanctioned as theft which has its own legal repercussions. Piracy is a word that stands up on its own, but everyone needs a "bigger, scarier" word to compare it to, so they choose theft.

My friend wore his thumbsticks down after a week of owning his controller. I've had mine (Xbox 360 controller for Windows) maybe a year or so and it looks brand new. I don't know what you guys are doing wrong, because I thought /I/ mistreated my controller :S

I couldn't imagine why. I'm too young to understand that mystical age of computing but wasn't it generally well received as an OS? If anything it sounds like something a company like EA or Apple would do with a product they'd rather completely forget.
