Why not do both a potion and remove the non-esssentials? Whatever it takes. We’re only one expansion in, and already it feels bloated to most people coming in. That bridge of content between the end of ARR and the start of HW are a real deal-breaker for some folks. It is way too overwhelming, optional or not.

There is a genuine fear of the current skill gap getting bigger once the jump potion is integrated, but screw it. I say go for it. There will be some restrictions when it does hit, and you know what else.

I don’t know how far VR will last as far as gaming is concerned. Unless somehow, someway they can do VR without asking users to strap something to their heads, it’ll always be a hard sell from an entertainment perspective. Who knows, though. I’ve just cleared chapter 1, and yeah already from a story perspective things felt a little bumpy in spots. Maybe something lost in localization? Who knows. I got the gist of the moments they were trying to convey, but still.
