It leads into the passenger compartment directly, you can in theory open the rear hatch of a hatchback or estate and climb into a seat. Over here in the UK we refer to Estates as three or five doors as well as hatchbacks, it’s just that shooting breaks/3d Estates are so rare now it’s kinda obsolete.
