And as we’ve seen over and over in so many woman-centric arenas—sexual assault prevention foremost among them—the impulse to protect is very different from the impulse to ensure equity, and the two things, worked out in practice, are often exactly at odds.

What the fuck? Yet somehow BernieBros are just an invention by overly sensitive feeeeeeeemales.

And it remains unaddressed because if you dare address it you are a Clinton shill. It’s unbelievably frustrating.

But Berniebros don’t exist, eight? Some Hillary aide must have done this because no one who indiscriminately loves Bernie could possibly feel this way.

Honestly stuff like this has destroyed any enthusiasm I had for Bernie. There’s so much previously-unaddressed sexism on the left that’s bubbling to the surface now.

And yet, I’m only voting for Hilary because we are both women.

I always liked this pic when a crying baby settles down for President Obama after she wouldn’t with Michelle. I like her faux offended face.

I’m probably biased as an attorney, but I don’t think these things are as intuitive as you may believe. Employee manuals that lay out clear expectations of staff are always needed, IMHO.

How painful that you couldn’t be there at the end. But your writing is wonderful. Give yourself some downtime; it takes the pain a long time to lose its sharp edge, but it really never goes away.

“We started to suspect that the accent was... less than genuine when he hung up by saying ‘Thank you! Come again!’”

Power moms are bananas. It's why I just wrote a check to the PTA and went home.

I’ve heard of Erin Brocovich. I’ve never heard about any massive chemical leaks in West Virginia. Who’s really in need of the attention whoring?

So you’re saying you made a well thought out, reasonable decision about your health and your body; the people responsible for it did not judge or subject you to their personal bias; and your supportive partner was there for you and cared for you before, during and after.

Federal loans have a rate between 4 & 8 percent, which is pretty low. And, again, free or low cost tuition is pretty useless to a lot of us unless they can figure out how to make it retroactive to 1991. I’m more concerned with Sallie Mae deciding it can no longer afford to do public service loan forgiveness plans.

That’s not true. Hillary wants to make sure that people who are getting an education get VERY LOW interest through federally subsidized loans. Forbearances while in school, low interest for paying back, and free education for people who live in poverty. That covers the children of single mothers! Hillary is for free

One thing that makes me nervous about both Clinton and Sanders is that both have a lot of plan for people who want to go to college, but not a lot for those of us already in debt. Or, as Sally Mae will refer to us “our last chance to make money."

Holy shit, $1500. That’s nothing. Absolutely nothing. If I only had $1500 in student loan debt right now, I’d be dancing naked in the street.

Because my siblings and I shouldn’t inherent anything from my parents? All the family keepsakes, their house, their cars should get sold off because taxes?

It’s true, I’ll freely admit that. I coasted through two years of art school on my parent’s dime. I bought a house at 22, and part of my closing costs were paid for by my parents. I quit a horrible fucking job at 26 and was able to cash out a CD that had been taken out for me by my grandmother to get through the

As somebody who doesn’t have a coffee machine at all, let alone a Keurig...
