They're also twins, which makes it far grosser IMO.

Me too! Also, aunt/nephew is less incestuous when you go by Targaryen standards.

I shipped Joey/Phoebe and I'm still bitter that they didn't end up together.

I completely agree - I disliked Susan a lot. I thought she could have been more understanding towards Ross.

Chandler/Monica is even better when you watch the older episodes, too, because you can kind of see it all along. Especially the flashback episodes.

"Not that many sitcoms followed Cheers’ “Sam and Diane” blueprint as successfully as Friends did." Ehhh, not sure I'd agree with that. By the end, I didn't care if they were together or apart, so long as they just picked one. Chandler/Monica was a way better romance, IMO.

I was rooting for Dany and Drogon. Like, I get that burning people alive is bad, but the Lannisters/Tarlys are terrible. Plus they're literally taking everything from the farmers, thereby condemning them to starvation.

Or to give Stannis badass military cred that they later completely forget about, anyway.

I think the writers like Cersei more than the rest of us do. I've always felt like the show whitewashed her, and at the very least it made her far more competent. Actually, they seem to love the Lannisters in general.

It was still rape. She can not consent the first time and then consent later after she's started to love him.

Tyrion was a slave for a while, to be fair

They should have cut Ellaria and the Sand Snakes and just kept Arianne, IMO.

I think it's more he doesn't want to upset his bannermen.

Plus her visions at the House of the Undying pretty clearly point to it, IMO.

Looks to me like Euron inherited Ramsay's plot armor.

I dunno, I think that's why I want it to happen. I'd like at least one romance that isn't completely terrible (aside from the incest which, let's face it, is not really an issue by Targaryen standards).

I don't get his character at ALL in the show at this point.

Yeah, I should clarify that I didn't necessarily see it as outright romantic, but the foundation was planted. My guess was it'll be built over the season as they work together.

Most interpretations of Dany's vision in the House of the Undying believe that it pretty strongly points to her marrying and falling in love with Jon Snow.

By the way, any thoughts on how Dany and her side can come back from these military defeats and still win the throne? Would love to hear discussion on that.
