It is definitely what they feel like, but there are so many actual problems with the VA that they could have depicted instead. They didn't seem to do any actual research into how the VA works or provides mental healthcare, as evidenced by their having Edgar meet with the Chief of Staff for a mental health consult.

I really wish this show would show at least one nice, competent VA provider. I get that they're trying to push this message of "the system sucks," which it does, but then they only ever show the individual people Edgar interacts with at the VA as cold and uncaring, too. They don't really show the individual

This episode was amazing.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I am a mental health provider and I hate that people have these experiences. Talk therapy really works, especially for PTSD, and it sucks that people get pills pushed at them instead.

The VA is underfunded, understaffed, and has its problems. However, I just can't see them refusing treatment to a veteran just because he doesn't want to take medication, especially given the VA's emphasis on behavioral treatments for PTSD. Not mention that a research study probably wouldn't want Edgar on all of

Sooo… although the VA has its problems, I can say with some certainty that I doubt that they would refuse someone treatment just because he or she didn't want to take medication. A lot of people who present to PTSD clinics refuse medication and they still get behavioral interventions. And that isn't how clinical

I bet the amount of Moe's lines was heavily influenced by the newer episodes, which are obsessed with him and his major depression.

Wait, so the cops knew that internal affairs was setting them up?

The narrative framework was actually more inspired by Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas narrating Jesus's life).

But now I have to see everyone say "soundtrack" instead of "cast recording"!

I love LMM, but I don't like his singing.

I live there now and I wish I knew where to get seafood delivered.

I'm from Wisconsin and lived there for years, so I have to ask: you can get cheese curds delivered??

Therapists aren't supposed to give advice. One of the reasons for that what if the person acts on your advice and it doesn't go well?

My husband and his guy friends have legit watched the first one at least 20 times. I don't find it as funny as they do, but I was almost in tears from laughing so hard during the sex scene.

Only if they finally get back together in it.

Yes, my thought exactly! Plus Will and Grace were always really uninformed about politics on the show. I guess they sort of showed it here with Grace, but Will seemed to know a lot more than he did in that episode where he campaigns for that gay candidate.

My husband was actually getting a headache from it.

And he sings about staring at her boobs. Ughhh.

One study found it adds up to 11 minutes.
