I loved that scene because pretty much every abnormal psych class has one student try to use someone in their real life for a project. Surprised the professor allowed it, though.

I totally agree. Plus Greg is able to see right through her usually, and I think she needs that in her life.
Yeah, honestly, I think Greg is a better match for her because he can see through her crap. He just needs to be nicer about it.
Yeah, I think "Settle for Me" was more Rebecca's interpretation of what he was saying, not what he was actually saying.
It's also because the psychological community rejected Dianetics for the pseudoscience that it was.
I'm a bit concerned about how this show portrays mental illnesses as completely untreatable conditions. Yes, we want to have empathy and acceptance for people with mental health issues, but we also don't want to get in this mindset of "there's absolutely nothing I can do about it so I'm not going to bother trying…
I think it's more the lack of acceptance. I could see both sides, honestly. Viewing depression as "unfixable" is actually part of the problem, because it's going to take away from the person's self-efficacy. At the same time, you still want to accept where the person's at. It's a difficult balance to strike. …
Butters Skyped with her.
I like the "social commentary" episodes a lot, but I also like when they're sprinkled in with the kids being kids. Like the episode with Marjorine or the hottest boys in the school list.
They were drawn and submitted by fans, too.
It's not just the characters, it's the writing. Edgar doesn't consistently act like someone who has PTSD.
It really bothers me. Edgar's PTSD only seems to pop up when it's convenient to the storyline, and the rest of the time he acts completely fine. For instance, I didn't think his reaction to the haunted house was realistic until he reacted to being startled.
I was just thinking during the episode that he is really hot in an awkward sort of way.
Psychotherapy is just as effective as medication, and one component of that would be along the lines of what Jimmy was trying to do—get her to stay active and do things that she enjoys.
I just moved to a new city so "I Definitely Have Friends" really spoke to me. Also, yay for Santino singing next week!
Amazon Prime is worth it for the shipping alone, IMO.
Your Gundam action figures may impress me, depending on which series they're from.
I haven't. Would you recommend it?
Or Amanda Seyfried
Hulu has the new Gundam series, so there's that I guess.
