1. Ramsay mistreating Sansa makes even less sense than did his mistreating fake Arya. He is not only angering the Northerners, he is risking angering Littlefinger.
2. The storyline is gratuitous because they could have cut or changed the fake Arya storyline in a way that could have resolved issue #1. Instead, they

She could have maybe manipulated Ramsay. We don't know because the writers didn't even bother to have her try.

Maybe he thought that Tyrion just wanted to fight in the gladiator pits.

I'm really upset about this because I love Sam and Gilly. Their scenes are usually the cute and sweet highlight amongst some very dark happenings. The circumstances of the scene made it extremely gross to me, so I couldn't enjoy it at all.

So I'm confused about how greyscale is spread. If it's starting in Jorah's hand, does it mean that anyone who touches his hand will get it? Because if so, there is going to be quite an epidemic.

Not to mention Jon Snow not really seeming to care that much. Or does he not know yet?

It's fine if they put her through hell, but did it have to be sexual abuse? There are other ways to suffer in Westeros, even for women. Plus this is very similar to what she experienced with Joffrey, and we already have seen endless scenes of Ramsay being sadistic, so it's just like overkill at this point.

I find it hilarious to see him as a holy man because I'm most familiar with him as the Engineer in Miss Saigon.

Honestly, I don't think his treatment of fArya was realistic, either. And if you remember, people in the North were getting pretty pissed about it. Another comment here mentioned her connection to Littlefinger, which makes it happening to Sansa even more unrealistic.

I just reread those parts of the book, and he was goaded into it by Mance and company.

Apparently Jon will probably not be involved either, since he seems otherwise occupied at the moment.

I dislike that aspect of the books, yes. The fake Arya stuff was particularly gratuitous, and as people have mentioned, didn't seem to make much sense.

Theon's the ultimate demonstration of that, IMO.

I wish Brienne would stop waiting for the signal (she is waiting, right?) and just go in there.

I figured it's because she knows she's going to be abused no matter what. Why bother acting nice to him? Ramsay's not a very good abuser because he keeps it constant, there's no intermittent reinforcement. He does it with Reek, but not with Sansa.

Yeah, I'm not too happy that they added in an unnecessary near rape scene just to get two characters to have sex.

I very much hope that Sansa doesn't end up with Tyrion just because he was the only guy to not rape her.

Does it make a lot of sense that Ramsay's allowed to get away with that?

I edited my post after seeing the other comments.

And Sansa's only recourse is to ask a man for help. Awesome.
