His comment that George is "egocentric" makes me think that he's psychodynamically-oriented so we're probably going to disagree on a lot. Also, I have no idea why he thinks Kramer is schizoid. He has clear interests in activities and people and does not appear to enjoy social isolation. He also doesn't seem to have

Well, you don't want to reduce them to that, but it is a useful teaching tool. Students remember TV and film clips and they have some great examples. I certainly wouldn't do it to the level that this guy does, though.

I get a few clips, but an entire class?

Nah, trust me, the more you pursue psych as a career the less you want to diagnose people in your free time. You also learn that it's unethical to diagnose someone if you're not seeing them in a clinical context (well, most people learn that).

Yeah, it is common. It's a good theoretical exercise.

Yeah, I think pretty much every psych professor shows students movies/TV shows and asks them to diagnose a character.

I dunno, I think that they used to be better than that. I know that everyone else loves this season, but to me it's just been mostly formulaic sitcom storylines.

Danny complaining to the airlines every time he has a gate change is absolutely hilarious to me.

This episode did nothing to alleviate my concerns that New Girl's humor/storylines are becoming more sexist.

He's a good singer but that's about it, IMO.

Kapnek posted on Twitter that this was not meant to be the ending.

Sorry to go all tumblr on people, but that scene with Henry catching Eliza's kiss… Ohh my God. Swoon.

On one hand it sucks that we'll miss an entire episode, on the other I hope this means that we're going to get an actual ending to the show.

What are these Wyldstyle-related problems? I'm just curious.

I disagree. Most Friends fans watch reruns on TV (which are plentiful) or have the show on DVD, it's not like they haven't seen episodes in years.

Wow, I didn't know that Karen Gillan could sing so well.

And yet still has no personality to speak of, other than worshipping CBG for some inexplicable reason.

I guess you also have Freud to thank for the enduring legacy of Oedipus.

I didn't like how last night's episode depicted Gwen as a criminal. I always thought that she was just kind of ditzy. A lot of the schemes she pulled would likely require someone to not be terrible at math. Also, I didn't think that Uma Thurman's voice fit the character design.
