This episode was more surreal than usual, and I think that it really worked well.

I love Roger, but I was annoyed at him killing Millionaire Matt Davis without any qualms or comeuppance.

Plus, didn't Emilia Clarke start refusing to do nude scenes? If she hadn't, I bet we would have had a ton of naked Dany.

The Richard subplot had waaaay too much secondhand embarrassment for me. Eesh. I'm not the biggest fan of the "This person thinks I'm a stalker so I have to prove to them I'm not, which results in situations that establish me as a stalker" story trope in the first place.

It's one thing when new Simpsons is bad (I expect that), but it's another when it takes down beloved older episodes with it. I hated seeing Abe's WWII heroism rewritten. I also was annoyed that it showed him arguing with Mona through the years—IIRC, didn't she leave when she was younger and not yet going grey?

I loved seeing even Louise get emotional at seeing that her family survived.

Yeah, and remembering from KotH days, we had this feeling that the show was on the bubble practically every season, even if it always ended up getting renewed.

I think Gene's more similar to Bobby than Tina. Both Bobby and Gene are really comfortable in their own skin, like to crack jokes, and have non-traditionally-male interests. However, Bob responds quite differently than Hank did.

I actually think that the closest to Louise would be Dale, weird as that might be.

It's REALLY difficult to find straps or sleeves on wedding dresses nowadays.

It also raises the issue of conflating feminism with "more masculine and less traditionally feminine," which in itself implies that feminine things are inferior.

House Hunters: International is even worse, IMO. I once heard it described as "Assholes buying 3rd world real estate.

The funny thing is that her "research" would not be remotely accepted in academic psychology.

The fact that one of the characters in Scorpion is a behaviorist is very intriguing to me. However, I probably won't be able to get through an episode to see if behaviorism is portrayed correctly because I cannot stand Kat McPhee's acting.

As a jock, it is my duty to give nerds a hard time!

Look, Big Daddy, it's Regular Daddy!

I dunno, I'd rather it end early than become a zombie version of itself like so many other shows I've loved.

No mention of King of Queens? This was a running thing for them—Kevin James's real life wife played a recurring role as Carrie's manicurist, and Leah Remini's real life husband played a doctor whom Carrie fantasizes about. I think that he had a few other appearances but I forget what they are. Oh, and Anne Meara

… Wow, that was DARK.

Yeah, this Tommen gives an entirely different impression, which is why I don't like the change.
