God I hope so! I need one TV couple to stay together.

Or when Nick tried to kiss her. Ugh, why can't the writers stop toying with my emotions??
Yeah, I don't think that the aftermath of the breakup has felt organic or realistic in any kind of sense.
And I'm finding the later part of the season sour because of the breakup, so I can't win I guess.
I feel like this episode made it seem like Nick is still interested but Jess isn't, which makes me even sadder.
Absolutely loved it. Too bad they'll probably break up in, like, five episodes. Yup, years of TV "will-they-or-won't-they" have made me bitter.
So when Nick and Jess were together and every episode was about their relationship, people were complaining about that. How is this any better?
They are?? My mind is blown.
He's also been called King of the Friend Zone.
That's one way to stop a romantic rival, I suppose.
Stop talking betrayal in my garden!
I didn't really find the Leonard/Penny thing that funny or sweet, tbh. If someone reacted like that when I proposed or almost proposed to them, that would really hurt my feelings.
I would argue that Sheldon is pretty much the opposite of Tommy in The Normal Heart, heh.
It's only boring when they make the happy relationship central to the show. A show getting bad after a couple gets together doesn't necessarily mean they shouldn't have gotten together, it means that there's possibly bad writing going on.
The thing is that the characters could have been together without having a storyline dedicated to their relationship every single episode.
That's how the creators responded, too. "Oh, we're so happy that we made a story that engrossed you enough to become this upset over!"
I never liked Barney/Robin and thought they had bad chemistry. But the writers also spent an entire damn season on their wedding weekend, showing them overcoming all of these difficulties together.
But they also did interviews saying that the fans were wrong and that thinking the Mother would die was "insane." They intentionally misled us. Plus, a lot of people thought it could happen, but that the writers couldn't possibly make such a bad decision. We were wrong, of course.
I disagree—Robin was a softer character in the earlier seasons. She had some "bro" tendencies, but she wasn't a female Barney like they made her later on.
Yeah, as much as that show made me sick of Grease, at least it gave us Laura Osnes. A few of the other Sandys have also had good careers, like Ashley Spencer and Kate Rockwell.
