It’s never ever worth going this far. We need a better system to help those with mental health issues. One of my best friends took their life earlier this year and I’m still fucked up from it. Please never take your own life. You have no idea the impact it will have on the people around you. Get help, reach out. Talk

This is really sad. If anyone out there reading this is in crisis, please, I know it seems impossible, but reach out to someone, anyone, before you do anything drastic.

I love almost everything about Alice Cooper, but I do hope this is something they wouldn't really do. Their kids don't need to lose them both at the same time, at the very least.

Remind me again how many years the CPD literally obstructed and covered-up the shooting of Laquan McDonald again.

Shit like this goes on all the time with movie posters.  There are lots of movie star heads photoshopped onto other people’s bodies.

In what manner is it disrespectful?

I don’t follow him, but about a year ago one of my favorite musicians died by suicide and it’s still occasionally devastating to me. I hope his fans are well. I hope he is found, and well.

You’re suggesting that if he hid his struggles with mental illness he’d be doing a lot better?

What is it you’re trying to say here?

Can you at all fathom that someone with mental health difficulties might not make the decisions you think are proper?

It’s public because he’s struggling and lives a semi-public life. Suffering openly isn’t a weakness and it doesn’t mean he’s acting/being dramatic.

I was literally just watching his E3 2019 Nintendo reaction not too long ago.

I don’t know who this guy is, but this is terrible. Hopefully they find him soon.

They’re 140 people in two locations, Chicago and Orlando, and as we discuss in the podcast, you probably haven’t heard of them but you’ve probably played a port they worked on!

Honestly, I think people are panicking.

If Disney and Netflix pull out of Atlanta, Georgia’s economy will basically collapse overnight. People ain’t buying peanuts anymore.

I think it’s less that people are unable to read intent as much as people are less willing to silently ignore faux pas that we consider to be harmful regardless of the intent. Not intending to do harm isn’t some magical indemnification against actually doing it.

It’s really more than what you meant to communicate matters less than what you did communicate.

I think it’s a ‘death by a thousand cuts’ thing. Combined with the blatant stereotypes folks previewing the game have called out and their history of anti-trans messaging (purposeful or not) folks assumed the worse.

I think it gets complicated by the company’s context of botching so much of social media and some of the rumblings from the show floor about how this latest demo was handling race. That’s a problem with the genre as a whole, but it doesn’t sound like 2077 is approaching that sort of thing with the greatest sense of

I wonder if they’ll get patched in over time.
