@Marshmelly: I agree with your points but I agree to John's comment too to a certain degree. I was just outlining things from his point of view. True the music industry has sky rocketing prices, even $0.99 for a song is ridiculous and artists have seen success (read youtube) because of the internet.

I would agree with him. With the advancement of internet (broadband speeds etc.) and the increase in accessibility, more and more people are relying on free services like youtube, pandora and so on for listening to music. Above all, torrent and p2p sharing are the main culprits in bringing down the music industry.

I hope they have, or the open source community comes up with, some sort of emulator for Android on Chrome OS tablets to run Android apps. This will be awesome then.

Could they just drop the pink/purple so that I can buy this?

Wow...those are some pretty good titles to launch with. Of course, MS is not new to gaming and integrating XBOX will be one of its major advantages.

Wow...thats gonna be interesting. While my year old D90 has 12mp sensor and 720p video, D3100 is gonna be quite good (but without the gazillions of options you get on D90).

So...do we know of any improvements in performance since the last time it was benchmarked, still showing slower than other browsers.

That would be freakin' awesome. But why does the mockup show Android 1.6. Could have at least shown 2.2 as 3.0 is not yet seen.

@stefan.hallen: Yea...I do that too...but what I meant was from a web interface directly to the phone. This way you do not have to search on the phone.

@mjt308: App installs are not yet OTA (except for AppBrain). Those are updates to the OS or software patches that are OTA right now.

Live streaming music to phones and OTA app installs?

Heck yea...she is sad that the job-less ex-CEO made almost 50 million out of all this? And it was never her intention to accuse a CEO of sexual harassment charges to be sacked?

Congrats guys...keep it up. You're one of the best blogs!!!

It seems to be a nice product but I think Apple is going for an overkill with multitouch...fun to use for consumers (I guess) but not so much for the corporations.

Cool...ALL the iPhones up to 4 jailbroken?

Hope MS doesn't kill this one.

Wow...that is one idea!!!

And I tipped gizmodo about this yesterday when maps app was actually updated...but I guess they dont like to post tips by commenters?

I have a few of these...meh!!!
