You missed the point entirely. You need some sort of broadband internet. If you already have cable, you will get Internet as part of that, and HBO cost's about $15 a month anyways. Well that is granted that you buy over priced Apple products first..so yes, you still have to be rich.

If I already have a cable modem..I will have cable to go with it. How is that really standalone? It wouldn't save me any money. I guess that is great if I only have DSL or are streaming the internet through my Cell Phone carrier.
