@natedogXVI: I thought it was all 4 original survivors met up with the new ones and then during the passing one of the originals dies.

@VincentGrey: I'm a PS3 owner but I played the living (unliving?) crap out of Dead Rising on my then future brother in-law's Xbox360.

@Blastarr: *checks watch* oops time for the two minutes of hate.

@DranzerKire: Actually if you think about it, it'll cost you $180 to fully play starcraft 2. So they're really riding the trend of increasing the price of PC games.

@jay13x: Yeah Fallout 3 had some gnarly ragdoll glitches in it. I had one where i killed a sniper and as he was falling, the hitbox for his right foot got caught on the side of the building and somehow his leg stretched while the rest of his body fell and hit the ground due to the force of the fall, then his leg

This just shows how much of an influence Activision has had over Blizzard.

@squishyalt: i wouldn't really consider it being a cheap bastard, more like refusing to pay 7.00+/box and, depending on the type of cookie, getting far less than what the box could hold.

psst hey you might want to change the kotaku logo up at the very top, the one next to i09 and gizmodo.

@Koztah: Only if SecuRom is in the path of a planned hyperspace bypass

as devil's advocate, here is a very solid counter-point to the privacy is not dead. here is a talk from over a year ago from a private detective giving several strong points leading that privacy is dead.

VOTE: DVD Decrypter

Well I've been Playing Doom and Quake for a week now which seem more promising than what has been released by EA and the like...

@Komrade Kayce: 2 other friends and myself were playing survival and had coach as a bot and no matter what, coach would grab a frying pan. From that point we now just call him Chef.

@Komrade Kayce: If you look at all the past expansion packs that were released in the late 90's early 2000's you will realize that Laho is correct that this should have been an expansion pack and at a price that resembled an expansion pack.

Holy hell this is faster than a Cheetah on crystal meth. I installed this on a eeepc atom netbook and loaded up some large pdfs that are heavy on images and it didn't even blink an eye at them. The scrolling is way smoother than adobe pdf reader and I am an instant convert to this reader.

Yay now my day sucks even more

Ever notice the timing on the 3.1 breaking tethering on all iphones with this update and the announcement of MMS now slowly rolling out? coincidence?

@jps1369: before you switch to desktop mode you need to add to the startup applications gnome-wm and gnome-panel once those are added you can switch to desktop mode.

Not really sure why you wouldn't just use ubuntu netbook remix. this, from what i have been able to see, is roughly the same thing with a different name and color scheme.

@SulochanaJobnik: this is a known bug and was fixed in ubuntu netbook remix. before you switch to desktop mode you need to add to the startup applications gnome-wm and gnome-panel once those are added you can switch to desktop mode.
