Your money is your voice. As Tech N9ne once said, “If you don’t like my new shit, well then fuck it go buy my old shit.”

Thanks to OEMs integrating infotainment system into all other parts of the car, that would now require completely rewiring the car and replacing the ECU, body control modules and other computers just to replace the stereo/screen.

The kind of ignorance that leads to someone believing George Floyd did not die from Chauvin having his knee on his neck for 9 min can only be the kind of ignorance that is fueled by racism.

Totally agree. The Ducati 821 was not on par with the competition but at least you would buy one because of the look. Let’s face it, a lot of riders were buying Ducati monster for the way it looks. Not sure it was the right move from Ducati

This article really makes me want to ride it. But I am afraid I feel like a lot of people here: a significant part of a Duc’s appeal are the looks that the new Monster just doesn’t have. Were I in the market it would come down to comparison shopping for the best balance of performance, looks, and price.

Now excuse me

they need to develop a design better language so the their bikes “look” like Ducatis.

You definitely have a point there. I only know it’s a Duc because they tell me it is. But instead of hanging on to outdated engineering just for aesthetics, they need to develop a design better language so the their bikes “look” like Ducatis.

Exactly this. Looks like an SV650 in the lede pic

That’s not a bad looking Yamaha but I think I’ll keep my current bike. (I say this as the owner of an air-cooled Monster).

In late 93' while attending the IMS in NYC I totally fell in love with the new (then) Monster. Fast forward to March 94' and I’m signing the deal on my first new bike, a red 94' Monster. Kept it for 6+ years and loved every mile ridden. Most of what you wrote about the newest one rang true with me, but I’m not being a

If someone slapped an MT09 badge on this, would your average rider still think it was a Ducati?

Sorry, the design is terrible, and you’re not demanding better from Ducati for being this lazy.

Apples to Oranges. I don’t think anyone else on the market other than Tesla even offers a solar roof, for example the one in this photo.

Some people feel traditional solar panels are ugly. I disagree, but if you don’t want a traditional solar panel, this is really your only option. I can’t wait to get solar on my roof but I certainly won’t go tesla. I’d rather get a much bigger traditional system for less money

The idea of going to Tesla for a solar package when I could use a local company with 50 years in the business and costs a fraction of what Tesla is quoting even pre-price hike, while still using good quality, industry-proven panels, really doesn’t resonate with me at all.

They probably could have just added, “He’s kinda Middle-Eastern-looking...”

Should have said it was a black man smoking a joint.

You completely lost me at “You will go to a Nissan dealership.”

Where is what will happen to this car:

Everyone on this site: “I want a fast, stylish-but-not-overstyled, 300-400hp car with RWD, a manual transmission, and relatively analog underpinnings. I also want it for cheap.”
