I’m Anti-tesla/anti-elon whatever you wanna call it, but The model 3 performance is 55k for much better performance. It might be the only one right now, but it’s a harbinger of where EVs are going to shift the automotive performance paradigm.  Heck, even the Mustang Mach E is sub 4 seconds, and it’s a mini crossover.

After today’s Rivian news, I just can’t help but feel how out of touch BMW is with their products.  What has cachet in the ICE world doesn’t necessarily translate well to the EV world.

And...done.

the stories about Apple supply chain operations seem to echo the same sentiment.

Yes...just yes.

Granted what you’ve said, most of my friends have some endearing or interesting things to say about him. But most have also moved on. Don’t know if you’re still in Fremont/ Palo Alto or not. But, it’s just like how some of my friends at FB and CZI have nice things to say about Zuck. But, there’s definitely still some

I feel attacked.   Still preordering.

And for those that doubt me and I’ve dismissed, I work for a FAANG/Big Tech/whatever you call it. Everyone knows someone from somewhere in the industry. Plenty of stories from Apple, FB, Microsoft, Amazon. When you kno leadership, there’s plenty of stories of Jeff Bezos, Satya, Sundar, Tim Apple, Steve Jobs, Bill

Nobody I’ve known who has worked for Elon has had good things to say about him.   So, this sounds about right.

Not a fan of Elon musk, but I think infrastructure, range. and speed/performance is going to be the bar that people will compare every new electric car to.

Now we just need Dr. Zoidberg on here too. Congrats Miss Mercedes. You seemingly have a VW problem now too. Can we rename this site to Oppo-lopnik?

Woot!  Oppo!

A Cherry low mileage 240 wagon to V8.

This is the only correct take.   I would place 100 Grand up there too.

there are pontiac aztek fan clubs, so not surprised

Haha..., yes we always are. It’s just tough to get into. It’s a FAANG company based in the SF Bay area with locations all around the world. It has a little robot as a mascot and cars that occasionally drive themselves.

Yeah, esp since my techbro company pays for uber/lyft and uber/lyftpool/van pickup service for work. And we have a free ev fleet at work, if I ever go back to work.

It’s like a mobile garage!

Saaame....
