No, mine was a bone stock OBXT. Dealer maintained for all 7 years of ownership under the extended warranty. It was a fun car, but I had it in the shop quite a bit. It was just outside of the vin range for the engine stop sale in 2008. I didn’t pay a penny for all those issues, since my warranty was 0 deductible.

The engines were more related with the sti (same block and doodads) than the wrx was.
