I think Volvo came to the same conclusion about reaction times from not paying attention. This complacency issue is the main argument behind those who are against anything less than level 4 autonomy. I've certainly come around and agree with them now

Why is it missing higher mounted sensors? My Mercedes has it and warns me of things in parking garages, but generally most cars have them at roof level. Seems like tesla needs to fix this hole.
My Mercedes has radar and stereo cameras at the roof level. They will detect beams at the roof level (and auto brake) in a parking garage if I’m driving too aggressively. This is just like the time the tesla that ran into the truck doing the summon feature. It seems like they’re missing higher mounted sensors
