Except there was no effort to brake. A semi with a diesel crossing 3 lanes would take at least 10 seconds to cross, especially starting from 0 mph. Those things are slugs.

Why is it missing higher mounted sensors? My Mercedes has it and warns me of things in parking garages, but generally most cars have them at roof level. Seems like tesla needs to fix this hole.

My Mercedes has radar and stereo cameras at the roof level. They will detect beams at the roof level (and auto brake) in a parking garage if I’m driving too aggressively. This is just like the time the tesla that ran into the truck doing the summon feature. It seems like they’re missing higher mounted sensors

Well, the leave camp just back pedaled on the claim that it will cut immigrants

Married a Corolla driver. I understand she’s not interested in cars.

The Mercedes Stalk shifter also auto engages P when the drivers door opens and dings loudly if the door is open and in gear or in neutral. The FCA one doesn’t.

Having extensively driven the JGC, I can attest that I’ve let the car slide in neutral more than a few times. I think if you don’t depress the shifter button enough, the car shifts into neutral instead of park. But the gear disengagement feels the same between both actions. The car also rolls a few CMs while the

The jgc is my default rental car so ive driven it dozens of times for days at a time. Great car, but I’ve done the same a few times here and there. It does have the same shifter as the A6/A8. I feel like it’s the standard default ZF 8 speed shifter.

Sounds more like a prepper than an actual military/veteran

This story can't be repeated enough, as a sober reminder for others.

Not on awd

I always hear the bullshit argument of “When XYZ automaker becomes big, then they can afford to make the fun niche cars”.

Remember when people claimed not wearing a seatbelt was better because you can be thrown from a flaming wreckage instead of being trapped in it? This is the new version of that argument.

If they had that in wagon, I’d take it. I loved the wagon I drove

VAG lost a lot of good designers over the years due to fights of egos with leadership. JMays, DeSilva, Schreyer, to name a few. If you want to find bold designs, follow where those guys go.

Having driven both DSG And 3-pedal B8 S4s before, I lament the change. With that change, they could've thrown a bone and given us a wagon in low volumes.

Good point Toni (dunno why it responded in line like this). You can pick up the 3 series in sedan, gt, Gc, and wagon (though not in 6-cyl format). Many configs are avail with stick too. Boo Audi.

What?! Jealous. If I wasn't going to drop $$ on a house soon, I'd be all over that
