Todd Reichert is rather fast at this exact race. I doubt pros would put more power on this bike, for the power profile used to achieve top speed. They would however trash him for one hour, he is more of a sprinter.

I am also quite sure that pros can put way more than 300W during TdF stages..

almost correct. Switching over directly from a upright to a recumbent is not a fair compassion. You need time to train on the recumbent, and then compare with your results from upright.

However, you are right, Todd Reichert ( the pilot) or any of the other pilots at the Battle Mountain race cannot match their upright…
