I think you're hearing the pan pipes from the tracks Karma Coma & Overcome and conflating it with Hill's track. Tricky's 90s work still sounds ahead of it's time (newer stuff….eehhhh not so much), this new track is simply average.

Sure, but capturing the spirit of the Southwest is much more than that. I just spent time in that part of the world and there is a deep mythos that a game set in the region could tap into.
