I agree with a lot of this. The Kofi thing upfront is Vince going “You’re not good enough” but it comes off as him being an old out of touch rich white guy. They won’t say that but the subtext is so obvious it hurts. However, they are skating that razor’s edge quite well with it.

Sad to see he’s retiring but I wouldn’t be mad if somehow they worked it so he won either a 12th IWGP Junior title win OR the IWGP Heavyweight title on his last night and then have a mini-tournament the next day for the now vacant belt. I know they won’t but it would be nice to see him leave as a champion.
