I love Rhimes and all of her shows. She will never get the credit she deserves because her shows focus on topics important to women (relationships), and because she writes fast-past shows with a lot of discussion and drama — which is somehow considered inferior to shows where white people in period costumes quietly

I adore her statement that she feels great when she doesn't work out! Me too. My asthma kicks in when I get overheated and I overheat in about thirty seconds, so working out is a misery for me. TV watching all the way.

I have found myself in bus stops with a surprising number of SNL cast members.

I'm just gonna take a minute to get excited about the fact that a black woman, Shonda Rhimes, is creator, writer, and producer of THREE primetime shows back to back on a major network, two of which have black woman leads.

My best friend got a shitty boyfriend and became addicted to heavy drugs and kinda dropped out of my life. This year she called me, crying, asking for help. We picked out an NA meeting and went together and for the first time since high school, I feel like I have a reciprocal friendship again. But. I told her how

I invite all of you who have not yet seen it to watch the recent BBC adaptation of Sense & Sensibility featuring Dan Stevens as Edward.

Frequent reader, first time commenter. Fat guy.

I know I'm in the grays, but this really needs the Archie Beat Off cover:

Wow, that is mind blowing.

I enjoyed Hello Ladies. Insanely awkward, and a very, very questionable hero, but it too has heart.

I want to marry Stephen Merchant. I don't think he'll ever notice me, though.

Merchant-Gervais are the Lennon–McCartney of British comedy: they need each other.

HE WAS THE MOST GORGEOUS MAN I'D EVER SEEN.

I know he made it all about him! But apparently that's how Lowe is and why he's no longer on the show.

And it's Gervais's writing (and perhaps more significantly, I'm beginning to suspect, Stephen Merchant's) that positions us, the audience, in her corner.

when i heard he adlibbed the 'i put your symptoms into the computer and it looks like you might have network connectivity problems' line from the flu ep, i was SOLD FOR LIFE on chris pratt.

I WATCHED EVERWOOD! I was in love with him then, too. But really I am just sad for people who haven't watched him in Parks & Rec. I decry none of you late adopters and encourage every one of you to go watch Andy Dwyer highlights. I know Ron is the fashionable favorite supporting character, but Andy has always been

I am totally with you on this. Ricky is almost like 2 characters - pre-fame Andy Millman and post-fame Andy Millman. I like his writing but he, himself, is often the opposite and totally insufferable. I don't know which is more truthful - fake laughing at Karl Pilkington Ricky or the person who writes those

I just love Taylor. I really, really do.

Well, if that's what floats your boat. I'd much rather watch this for two hours:
