I remember all this in the 80s since Baby Gothick was born in 1980 and I followed these cases keenly. One rallying cry from accusers was that “We believe the children! Children don’t lie!”

I would bet the rent that family was American. Because we are mostly dumb in this country, and treat other countries like our own personal footstools.

OK I’ve been wanting to ask this and this seems like an appropriate place: WTF is wrong with one of her eyes? They don’t seem to track in the same direction. What my dad used to call gotch-eyed. You’d think with all that money she could get that fixed?

I remember the one from the early 80s. Kind of meh. I made one of those cardboard box pinhole things, and beheld a tiny circle of light that became halfway obscured. I for one am failing to get excited about this one, and I live pretty close to the path of totality.
