Usually the problem with rear underneath is exit angle,as tires get bigger they take more and more room. Also being at the back they get all the spray/gunk/junk off the tires.

I prefer the Wreck Trek version where they use lug bolts through the body panels and roof;

In Aircooleds it make sense because weight balance, added safety, it’s a trunk, plus washer sprayers!

There are many types of safety razor.. Gillette Fatboys or Slims are adjustable.. Or there are the Red and Blue tips.

Corrado, the best second car ever.. lol. Few people get more drinks bought for them to cry into than the Corrado owners, even the Passat guys feel bad for them..
