Vise-grips saved my westfalia as well; the heatercore under the rear seat gave out and tried to dump all our coolant from the wasserboxer mid-trip. Needle nose vice grips held the feed lines closed for the next week and the vacation was saved. Now a set of them ride in each of the vehicles.
