Hooray for the rebellious youths of China!

Martini livery ALL THE PORSHCES!

Nope. NVGs are reserved for a very special version of aerial refueling which takes place at low altitudes where the lights on the plane would make them very easy targets for AAA and MANPADs.

The XF-82 Twin Mustang, as originally built, was unflyable. It couldn't get off the ground.

I'm turning that into a bumper sticker and putting on every lifted truck I see.

Confederate Pride?

"for now, the residents of Bobtown better make good on their free pizza while they still can—the fracking special is a limited time only offer".

Hi! Let me jump the bandwagon here with a different viewpoint: sightlines. Cars are required to have their lights at a certain height and visibility from certain angles. Styling and aero sometimes want them flat but complying with standards trump such considerations.

Now playing

"Inline threes have a very odd, not exactly musical tone."
Excuse me?!

For me it's cruise control. Never use it, never really have, never really will. It's really not THAT inconvenient to lean my foot on a pedal while -God forbid- driving.

Allow me to shove this

I would guess it's a combination of 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' and safety regulations.

It's also a NHTSA mandated design, a la the design of an airbag.

Those squids on the sport bikes were idiots that deserve to go to jail.

this isn't a prank. it's an ILLUSION! pranks are what whores do for giggles.
