I had hopes on the open back, but I put it in several places around the car (front bumper, third quarter in front of the mirror and front wheel arch) and I could only hear wind noise. Same thing with the bike.

Blame GoPro for the music. I love their camera, but the mic sucks big time. I can ensure you that in most of those angles all you could hear is wind noise because I tested them in my car. They need a microphone feed.
