Giancarlo Stanton is no Samurai but his batspeed on this towering HR is 144MPH!

My favorite part is I thought that car was a Civic, genuinely, before he said what it was. His car is so hellaflush that it turned into a much cheaper car.

Tried to post that, got Kinja'd.

Regarded as very mediocre by European reviewers.

They are common over here and nobody bats an eye at one. In the USA, I guess it’s (maybe) great because it’s different?

I get it. Its French. Its unusual in the US since there’s like none here. And so it would be easy to oooh and ahh over this for the sake of it being different. But honestly the interior pictures look almost exactly like the innards of a Toyota Avalon. Design wise, its just weird in a not-so-cool way. It reminds me of

I was wondering: is this car great because it’s great, or is it great because it’s different?

These things are used as Ubers here and I absolutely loathe them. I get car sick in the back and they pick up every minute detail in the road surface. In Paris, with cobblestone streets, these things are the worst.

Those “waivers” have almost no legal standing what-so-ever. They are basically an intimidation tactic and do not in any way excuse venue operators or renters from negligence, poor process management, or anything else along those lines.

Only suing for $15,000? I would have expected another 0 or two on there. If that is all it is, they should pay her and move on.

I ordered mine in “oompa loompa orange.”

Err, it was more of a joke towards the old tin foil hat conspiracy theorists than anything. Though I do know a certain rebel that has not had a front plate on his Miata for 1.5 years in a state that requires a front plate, but don’t tell anyone.

I can confirm that I’d believe if the original story was just a ploy by big razor companies due to a presumed decline in sales of razors in these bearded times.

That will look great next to my Land Rover!

The car in the ad is a legit 2010 Focus, not a 2016...we didn’t get that body style in the US. Ford gave us the snooze box you pictured above. The RS was a Euro only car, as to how it got here legally is worth investigating.

Hurra for chillinøtter og Dahls øl!

Not even once, soon you’ll find yourself swigging aquavit and eating lutefisk

This is why you don’t try Norwegian, kids.

I won’t disagree with most of your statements, but I take great offense to the jalapeño comment. Sitting in their own juice makes them far better, no question.
