I’m betting it was staged by the bike rider and a friend or two to get the video, but I really doubt the Lambo owner was in on it.

...can’t find any evidence to support this yet, and I know the news talked to the owner, but my hypothesis is still “100% staged.”
(I still have no idea who Britt McHenry is, and I’ve looked into it.)
No dice Bubbles.
From that angle and type of hit that looks likely to have occurred, is it possible that they were going clockwise on a track that was set up for counterclockwise? The barrier that they didn’t hit would indicate to me that that is the way the track is set up.
This track predated universal acceptance of the SAFER barrier, it only ran professional racing from 1995 to 2000. It is and has mostly been pretty much a quagmire.
A plane is definitely limited by physics.
You cant expect someone who's first name rhymes with their last name to know that.
"Fast cars will always be limited by their surroundings and physical capabilities. Fast planes never were."
THIS is the comment I came to see...
I’d go with this.
Yes. That video is ice racing, not snowmobiling.
2strokes make me slightly aroused
Direct injected 2strokes!
Alternatively, they could have done the test on you know, snow.
The definition of “drifting” these days seems to be “car is mildly out of control.”
Power-sliding and burnouts =/= Drifting.
