actually, Universal Music is owned by Vivendi, while NBC is owned by NBCUniversal, a 51-49 joint venture between Comcast and GE.

is that US-only?

well, that sucks. sucks just as much as not having games in the local iOS App Store for rating system reasons (the Brazilian government wants Apple to use their own six-tier rating system - L/10/12/14/16/18 - instead of Apple's four-tier system - 4+/9+/12+/17+)

where are you? I mean, even here in Brazil, we can buy Android apps. and they even have the estimated prices in local currency (unlike Apple).

the thing is: intolerant people have the money.

here in Brazil, networks can offer 1-year contracts, maximum, by the local regulator's rule.

I believe that Earth Hour isn't about energy conservation, but about getting the governments' attention to create more and better policies regarding climate change. I believe that's how it started back in Australia five years ago.

NEWS FLASH: the Firefox button is not available on Windows XP and Mac OS X.

maybe they'll use a 30-pin-to-USB adapter, likely to be included.

it's all about other networks having the rights to these shows outside the US.

because they sell big in developing countries where people can't afford the real deal (and they're very aware they're fake).

@Colin Berge: sorry, they won't have a hot chocolate in Trenta, it'll be only for their cold beverages.

@OreoExplosion: the Sony Ericsson logo now comes in many colors: regular green, lime green, blue, light blue, red, pink, purple and orange.

could you guys please replace the Sony logo with the Sony Ericsson logo? (they're a joint venture between Sony and Ericsson, though it uses many Sony brands, including the slogan "make.believe")

@Wheema: well, "Xbox Live Marketplace", "Zune Marketplace" and "Windows Phone Marketplace" ARE trademarked.

@schunniky: "app" is much easier to speak that "application".

@Strages: FM radio (with or without HD Radio), maybe?

@dgrimes: just improve your network. it's that simple.

@Kaiser-Machead: and here in Brazil, the only CDMA network, Telefónica-owned Vivo, has gone GSM/UMTS/HSDPA a few years ago. and they still have their "best network" reputation from their CDMA days.

@goodwood8: I believe HSDPA is already 3.5G, and HSPA+ is 3.75G.
