I think art is far too subjective to claim that these shots are “bad”necessarily. VG Obsession’s is pretty good compositionally I think. I suspect Ray’s shots have some diffusion added in post, curves adjust for that film look, and color correction. I would probably take multiples at different exposures to get what I

I don’t work in games...but I do work in VFX, and “crunch” time here isn’t called crunch. It’s just a normal day. 12hrs (14 sometimes) and 7 days a week. Luckily this only goes on for a few months, then after that you’re typically laid off.
