God help me if I find some fuckwitted meninist trying to pee in the ladies room just to prove a point. I love how these jackasses express their transphobia by demanding entitlement to enter a female space.

I would die of irony if one of these conservative douchewaffles was shot by a woman using concealed carry.

Do they really not see how creepy this makes them look? And do they not see that they probably could have done this anywhere because there isn’t security standing in front of the women’s bathrooms?

You banned soft drinks, dude. You don’t have much room to whine about a nanny state.

He's like if Good Guy Greg made an indie game. He is a treasure.

I haven’t been playing much since I heard the dev is adding more marriage candidates because I don’t want to marry someone I don’t love. I want to be a homewrecker and marry Robin ;-;

As a TA, I hear these kind of statements from my students a lot, but I don’t see it as a big deal. They’re just using “I feel” as a replacement for “I think.” And despite what Worthan argues, it’s not impossible to correct or build upon these statements. If I can do it with less than a year of teaching experience

I feel strongly that you make a great point. ;-)

Rather than condemn millennials—and those, shall we say, contaminated by them—for shirking “responsibility” through discourse, let’s acknowledge our more pressing duty: to stop policing speech, and instead welcome the voices clamoring to be heard.

Counterpoint: I doubt your grandparents were as despicable as Reagan

It’s shitty, sure, but here’s the thing: Reagan was kind of shitty. And more importantly, he was a public figure and open to ridicule.

Not as mean spirited as allowing Reagan to continue as president while suffering from dementia.

I’ve read a lot about Reagan and what he did to the poor in this country and his complete refusal to address the exploding AIDS crisis. Fuck him and his memory.

“I watched as fear invaded my father’s eyes—this man who was never afraid of anything. I heard his voice tremble as he stood in the living room and said, ‘I don’t know where I am,”

Now, as I’m reading through the comments, I’m seeing hate for him... why the hate for him? He is the literal definition of “woke bae” (as much as I hate that term) He is trying, yes, he makes mistakes as we all do, he admits and learns from and moves on ... so why the hate?

This is a great opinion piece on the whole affair. From the article:

Oh fuck that shit. At all the graduations I’ve been to (most of which have thankfully been outside), people have brought in AIR HORNS. Which were expressly forbidden and pretty damn annoying if you’re close to them. But no one got arrested or fined.
People are happy their kids are graduating and finishing a chapter in

embarrassing cheering is literally the most important part of graduation ceremonies.

At my sister’s graduation, my family befriended the family behind us and teamed up so they helped us cheer when she went on stage and we did the same for their son. I recommend it as a tactic for all who want to be heard.
