Plenty of male actors have done FAR worse than lick a damn donut and got a pass(I.E. Sean Penn beating the crap out of Madonna) so i’m not too bothered by it, I really felt sorry for her after that bombing after her concert in Manchester, NOBODY deserves to go through that.
I was 17 when iCarly premiered and I still got into it.
she did mention elsewhere that she hopes that Arianna reads the book, so clearly she does have a desire to move past how she felt back then.
uh no nazi troll, Grande was not “uppity” at all(BTW that term has racist connotations so I wouldn’t casually throw it around if I was you, my god the commenters on The Root were right when they talked about the racism in the comments on Jezebel). Grande didn’t do anything wrong, she had every right to be excited…
I wouldn’t say never, i’m sure it will come out at some point as I imagine WB is going to get sued over this.
it’s still terrible optics though.
I’d argue we do need more games like Detroit, like I remember getting the best ending on the night of the 2018 midterms and it was a damn good feeling.

not really no, people genuinely want to pay to see Dave, he’s not tricking people out of their money, they know EXACTLY what they are signing up for when they pay to see him.
Dave is actually though.
I think Dave is still funny(though his last special was a bit too defensive for my tastes) and I don’t think he hates trans people, he’s just clumsy at accepting them.
uh yeah it does.
let’s not assume the worst this far ahead of time mkay?
I never felt like GTA V fell into that.
strongly disagree, studios have done well in the past.
not true, Franklin wasn’t on that level.
I don’t think that stuff removed in GTA V was transphobic personally but i’m glad RS is moving with the times.
Yeah i’m a little disturbed by the sexism aimed at Katie on this thread, Denzel is a damn good actor but in general I get the sense that he’s a very unpleasant person to be around in real life, so I don’t blame Katie for being taken aback by his response. Could she have phrased the questions better? Absolutely, but…
