Honestly the new GTI shouldnt have too many reliability issues. Most of the VW horror stories I’ve heard have been from people with either a heavily modified car or a worn out example that was beaten to shit by some teenager.

The maverick is worth the cost imho. Ended up replacing my passat with a loaded XLT after i got an insane offer for it and i love the thing. Practical as all hell and just oozes character.

If im not mistaken the 110v is already included in the luxury package which also includes the bedliner and the hitch receiver. When adding it separately the configurator assumes you just want just that and not the rest of the lux pack equipment.

I mean ffs they are even using a stripped down version of sync3 for the infotainment despite having sync4 already on a lot of their models

Same goes for the dell latitude line. Extremely easy to service and you can find em with proper gpus for under 300. Id take 1gb gddr5 over integrated graphics any day of the week. Might not be top of the line but they are cheap and pretty decent spec wise.
