Good point. My HVAC system barely works anymore compared to when it was new, because the filter is clogged with dust and pet hair. Time for a new house, I guess.

“I” have freedom.... US freedoms revolve around “I”, “Me”, “My”, “Mine”, and “Not Yours.”
And already the, “If it affects performance or engine note? No thank you.” comments are out in force.
ie I’d rather have my child, or my friend’s children grow up in a filthier country where our children suffer more from a variety of diseases and neurological deficits all so that my car can go Vroom Vroom louder and…
*FREEDUMB
Yeah, but in the US you have FREEDOM!!!!!*, or some other stupid reason for not protecting people.
Handsome car other than the chrome wheels. And NO... they should not be replaced with fucking black wheels.
The tiny model of the car really seals the deal for me. This is a reasonable price for a reasonably special car. I don’t love the blue-on-blue contrast of the soft top with the body color, but you don’t see the outside when you’re in it. And if anyone else is seeing the top with any frequency, you’re doing…
I don’t understand any of this uproar/backlash/protesting/whining about Musk buying Twit (for the record I am ambivalent towards the guy).
I’m a huge fan of manuals, and have dailied a manual for about 25 of the last 30 years including my current FiST. However, V12 in long wheelbase form? Naaaah, that’s speedy luxo-barge territory and I’ll stick with an automatic, thanks.
Hopefully Ford doesn’t go woke...its not working for Disney.
...Hopefully Ford doesn’t go woke...its not working for Disney. Industry forgets labor intensive jobs want trucks, not someone who needs to load his toy poodle for a walk in the park.
US and Canada are the only first world countries where open bed trucks are the default working man’s vehicle. Everywhere else it’s vans of varying sizes depending on the needs, with pickup trucks relegated to those use cases where nothing else will do.
The dealer put the sticker on the windshield and it was 7K mile. I even asked them if I should do it sooner and they said nope
Um a brand new engine should be on at least it’s 3rd oil change by 7K...
Ouch, gotta love that 100K mile warranty . . .
My brand new engine (7K miles) in Kia was do for first oil change. It’s leaking oil. Rear main seal is bad. 7K miles and a bad rear main seal is pretty bad. While the tranny is out, I asked them to check the clutch, might as well replace it now the it has 78K miles. I guess the CV joints will go out next. It’ll make…
NP all day long. For $15k you get a gorgeous luxo-cruiser in a proper color combination plus unlimited bonus points for the V12. Budget yourself an extra $10k for maintenance and it’s still a damn good deal.
M73 and 5 Speed auto make this a nice step up. Looks like maintenance has been done etc etc. To expensive to be a donor motor for my BMW 850 but NP for mileage and condition.
This looks like a BMW luxury sedan not a gross caricature of one. For the enthusiast something better than the offerings of MB at the time. It is going to be expensive to maintain, but NP anyway.
Collectible, now or in the future? Perhaps. If you look at it that way, it’s your potentially expensive hobby, and you know up front this is just the price of entry.
