That thing is hideous. I know malaise C3’s get a bad rap, but they didn’t deserve this.
Well Elvis did own a Stutz Blackhawk.
Something like this should come with a Liberace wardrobe. And maybe a tiger.
He would have to be a FLORIDA coke dealer. It’s a prerequisite.
Sorrysorrysorry. Typo on my part. I’ve now appended the C with a 3 and have shown 4 the door.
It would take a...special kind of person...to look at that eagle every time they got behind the wheel without feeling a bit icky.
C3 Vette, not a C4.
For a 45-year-old car with what is more likely 206,000 miles and also turns out 76 horsepower, this car at this price would hardly lift my spirits. It might make me depressed or saddle me with severe buyer’s remorse to drop nearly $10k considering what else that would buy. Is a number transposed in the price? Even at…
My first girlfriend had a white one just like this. Brought back some memories, including crawling under the car in the dark to try to fix the hydraulic clutch so she could get home.
Nice time capsule... but I think it’s only worth half the asking price. ND to me.
Ok, this is insane. $9500 for this! I can certainly appreciate it for what it is, but that price is crazy. $4500 max!
Rob, have to take you to task for calling this a shooting brake. The liftgate only raises the glass, not what would be the tailgate, and is aggressively slanted compared to the Corolla wagon, which does lift the tailgate.
Well, how else can state officials attempt to extort Ford for “campaign donations” if there’s a whole layer of local government in their way?
Love the car (remember them fondly, and I once had a ‘76 Corolla Coupe that I bought for $300 and it survived my abuse for YEARS). And it looks really clean and well-kept, but not $9,500 clean and well-kept...
It’s come to this for the out-of-control used car prices? Nearly $10K for a 40+ year-old meh Toyota? WTF?
Had a crush on a girl that drove a red one of these. Ahh....memories. But not for half the price, even in the current economy. ND/CP.
Just because it’s old doesn’t mean it’s valuable. ND
Love these but this one is overpriced by a factor of five. You heard me... FIVE!
Love the car hate the price.
