IF it was closer and my bank account fatter, I’d go take a long look at it. Always liked the looks of these and it seems in great shape, if perhaps a bit overpriced, but then I’m not in the market. Tentative Nice Price pending a very thorough inspection . . .

Big deal. My BMW GTL weighs (much) less, handles (much) better and comes stock with 150hp.

“Easy to work on” only applies if you have the knowledge, tools and a place to do the work, plus cash for the parts. I can easily see a scenario where a bucks-down person jumps on this because it’s all they can afford, and then discovers a major issue that he/she can’t pay for or know how to fix.

This is a tough one. I suspect that the seller knows there is some major expensive work that needs doing, and is trying to unload it as fast as possible so that the next owner gets stuck with the bill.

If something can be both “too rare” and yet not have much value, this car is it.

Neat, but incredibly SLOW. You don’t to be following one up a mountain highway.

I don’t care how rare this thing is, that’s an insane price. No other word for it. Probably didn’t cost that much when it was brand new. And as much as I like to row through the gears myself, a stick shift in a vehicle like this, hauling kids, dogs and groceries, is not something I’d consider an advantage.

A big NICE PRICE! If I wanted one, this would be my choice. Price isn’t insane and it seems clean and well-maintained. What’s not to like?

IF I had that kind of cash lying around to splurge on a toy, I’d need to do a deep-dive on Ferrari prices and where this fits in the spectrum. I actually am fine with its looks (fight me) because it is still unmistakably a Ferrari to any gearhead.

I would rather have yesterday’s 944, but as a project, this one seems like a good choice at this price. Worse case scenario, if it never runs reliably, part it out or sell it for what you paid. Nice price.

An alternate take: Having had the dubious honor of having multiple project vehicles at the same time, the question is always with limited time and money, where to spend it. I suspect that’s the situation here.

Fuck it, I’ll go against the flow and click on Nice Price. Not a bargain and with its share of nits, but it IS a 944 and good ones at affordable prices are getting hard to find. And the seller is obviously a gearhead when you look at his garage and driveway, so I think he’s being honest about “too many projects . . .”

Nothing original here. This was done decades ago by Russ Collins who drag-raced exactly this engine setup and the bike was on the cover on multiple motorcycle magazines of the time.

One look at those stupid wheels and immediate NO DICE! Didn’t read a word about it. Tells me all I need to know about the owner. Way to fuck up a beautiful car, ya dumb ass. Sheesh!

WANT! That’s one extremely Nice Price! Anybody who votes ND should be stricken from the Jalopnik rolls.

I looked at the pictures really quick and instantly hit Nice Price. Didn’t even read the words. Good project, simple to work on with basic tools and even the most basic mechanical knowledge, and a perfect little project to keep you amused during the winter months.

The overall tone of the ad, the wording makes me hesitate. On the face of it, seems like it should be a NP, but the seller comes across as a dickhead and $6200 is too much to put up with the hassle! So No Dice because I wouldn’t want to deal with this guy and his boy-racer modifications.

If I had both the space and the desire (that’s lacking here), these seem like an unlikely future “classic” and worth the price of admission to be proven wrong. Certainly you’re not going to see very many of these at any parking lot classic car show, so there’s that. It’s a twofer at a not-insane price, and those GM V6

Despite the fart can exhaust and dreary color (and photos), if I was looking for a project, I’d consider this one. Seems mostly complete and the under-hood photo looks like the motor has gotten good care. Nice Price for a project car.

Beat to shit high-mileage Bronco and even in today’s alternate reality of car prices, that price is a reach. Seller is hoping to find a sucker who hears “Bronco” and reaches for his checkbook.
