Just as the voting box says, I want the 427 (or something similar) for that price! A 302 doesn’t have the same vibe, and with toys like this, I want it all. No Dice.

Call me cynical, but in this market and with relatively low mileage for its age, it’s under-priced for a dealership offering. I’d want to do a really thorough inspection, CarFax, etc. Nice Price if it passes scrutiny, but I bet it doesn’t.

Thank you! Reinforces what I thought I remembered about car prices 30 years ago.

I’m too lazy to Google it, but did this particular car even cost $20,000 when he bought it? Zero depreciation in 30 years? Since I can buy a new 2021/22 for in the $40,000 range, beats me why I’d drop $20,000 for this. Ain’t exactly rare . . .

I’d buy it! They have a timeless look; wonderful styling.

If I want a kit car, I’ll build my own. Have the tools and most of the expertise.

Have always liked to looks of this swoopy big Merc, but I seriously do NOT like that price. Serious hunk of change, even with it being AMG’d and low mileage. And that’s suspiciously low mileage . . . a red flag.

An instant NO DICE! Some Guy’s Unfinished Fucked-up Project is a bad idea at any price. Hate the color too!

They’re still around? And they want to join the EV crowd w/ 1,000 horsepower and a high six-figure price?

Learned this the hard way years ago racing motocross. The last practice session is always a clusterfuck of tired riders testing their luck, while their brain is already focused on the cold beer in the cooler. Never. Do. This.

Vans for the mobility-challenged cost north of $75,000 after all the necessary mods. This is a bargain, easy to park, looks extremely well done.

Something, something, German cars, maintenance . . .

Just NO! Yeah, it’s kind of rare, apparently OK shape, but the asking price is what needs “pampering.” If I’m going to spend $10,000 up front, I’m spending it on something newer, maybe even with a warranty.

I guess the real question here is whether I’d choose this green yard dart as how I die, because there are zero safety features, not enough power to get out of its own way matched by 80s-era brakes almost as strong as what’s on my bicycle. Almost.

Your title (aka: click bait) drew me in because it sounded like the biker himself was to blame or some kind of asshole. I watched the video and the rider is not even slightly at fault, plus he’s smart enough to ride ATGATT (all the gear, all the time).

I will continue to SCOFF, because to restore this particular vehicle (even if you have all the skills and tools to do it yourself) is probably going to cost north of $30- or $40,000 dollars on top of the asking price, and I may be $20,000 low on that estimate. It needs pretty much everything, lots of things are hard

So . . . Elon wants us to finance his personal army (their first allegiance will be to him) of robots to take over the world and put him on a gold-plated (not real gold, as Musk lies about too many things) throne?

Did I miss the memo? Has April Fool’s Day been rescheduled?

I’ll take Incompetence for $500, Alex . . . “

For Fud-It money, this is truly a Nice Price!
