You forgot the MAGA asshole stickers.
You forgot the MAGA asshole stickers.
Didn’t bother to read. Hummers are an automatic NO DICE because the people who think they’re cool always end up being right-wing assholes. Sort of the 4-wheeled version of far too many Harley riders.
Always remember that if a person built it, another person can find a way to change it, especially if there’s money to be made.
And the Suzuki DOES/did roll over frequently. Plenty of past owners can attest to that.
Haven’t gotten the recall notice yet from Honda, huh? Go The Morning Shift . . .
Play by whatever “rules” suit you. I’ve owned a lot of different brands, both motorcycles and cars (and trucks), can wrench if I choose to (used to write the automotive column for a major magazine) and I’m willing to pay someone to do the dirty work when I know I’d be in over my head. I’m a gearhead, so I like…
If it checks out, and the seller has the service records, I’d award it a Nice Price.
I was going to go thumbs-down on this for the price/age/ingrained dirt on everything, BUT for what it is, if you need a strictly-work vehicle, preferably not involving a lot of actual driving distance, this is maybe not a “nice” price, but respectable.
The question here is whether I’d spend $13,000 to have something that nobody else in a six- or ten-state area has, or has ever seen? Or wanted?
Took one look at the price and those fugly wheels and said Fuck No.
Kinja apparently thinks I respond too often. Anyone else have troubles with being able to comment?
Sweet! Now this would sell for $14K . . .
Love vs hate. Love Volvos, the engine transplant and it appears to be a pro installation, although a strange one.
Never knew the ‘Carlo came this way, and now that I see this example, a Nice Price from me. Love the color, condition and mechanicals. A lot to like and probably a future collectable.
It is what it is and that price and condition, Nice Price. I wouldn’t pay more.
Running through fresh snow is refreshing and fun. A little like running on top of pillows, as it cushions your feet as each step lands. I’ve done it (literally) for decades, never let it stop me. With the gear available nowadays, it’s easy to stay warm and dry while running even in in zero-temps.
The race is held on the island’s roads, not in some fenced stadium or race track. No way to keep people from congregating. And this is a race that should have been consigned to history (ie: killed) long ago . . . And I say that as a motorcycle racer.
Didn’t think I’d EVER vote Nice Price for a Dodge Dart, but hell, for $4500 I’d take a chance on this. Looks well-maintained and it’s close enough to fud-it money to be worth the risk.
Decimal point is in wrong spot in the price. $38.00 sounds about right. Hell, maybe even forty bucks! And that’s if the seller delivers it to my garage.
Initial response on seeing this: GACK! Not one of those . . .
