you’re correct but there’s nothing that can be done with time zones and global audiences. Its the same challenge that the Olympics face. make it more convenient for one country and others suffer and only the diehards get reached.

I just had a thought based on something you said in your original post.

1) Keep your arms and legs away from the car controls (my wife has a habit of leaning over and having her arm in in the way of the stickshift).

Lets see how Zandvoort works out. If its good then maybe the Daytona Road course?

The sponsor thing is 100% true. I remember when F1 first came to Austin, HAM’s Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes was re-branded into Verizon (Vodafone’s US subsidiary at the time). Even Coca-Cola, one of the largest and most recognizable brands in the US is nothing more than a 4"x10" logo on the engine cover of the McLaren.

If this same platform is used for any cars that have AWD, then that floor is fixed and would need to include room for at least a driveshaft, maybe some kind of center diff too.

Definitely one of the high-end, low volume people (as many of the below commenters have already said). Probably Ferrari if I had to pick one.

I’ve never understood the desire for creating Harlequins... Purchasing a factory one, sure, cuz they’re rare. But intentionally creating a copy, no. The paint scheme is cool but it’s cool in a “oh, huh, they did that, that’s different” way. It doesn’t make the car look any better nor does it make it more fun to drive,

as someone who works in a corporate setting, this hit way too close to home...

My vote is for Jim Carrey.

Taking the Mythbusters Approach.  I approve!

if this thing doesn’t get 90+% no dice, i think we need to start culling poster’s privileges...

helicopter man (or woman) got lucky that his (or her) skid didn’t hook onto that reinforcing bar right in front of that fiberglass intake. otherwise he (or she) woulda been going for a ride with an unpleasant ending...

According to a quick Google i just did, Honda has roughly 6-7% of the market in China and sells about 200k cars a year in India.  I’d say that’s not too shabby.

I somewhat disagree with your comparison. GM is definitely Western-hemisphere focused but Honda definitely is a global brand with the Civic, Fit/Jazz, and other small-cars.

I don’t know how a global company like Stellantis can recon with the fact that their only volume brands are regional...

Not sure you really need the frontage roads. Why couldn’t the tow trucks or service vehicles simply enter the paddocks through the same way the AV’s did. It would also eliminate the possibility of people trying to get onto toll roads for free through these frontage roads (not to mention making your concept simpler and

One of my driving routines, after I buckle my seatbelt, is to plug my phone into the charging chord.”

My grandparents had a copy of this book and I wouldn’t put it down the whole time I visited them as a child.

Not gonna lie, I was almost convinced the first half of this article was written on April Fools day. These names of these people are exactly what an immature 30-something (me included) would use for fictitious names. Hahn, Callahan, Farley, Butts.
