I’ve never stacked plates in order to “help out”. The times that I’ve stacked plates are either because the kids are done their meals and they want to get back to coloring on their placemats or we’re at a tiny table and there’s not enough room for a bunch of empty plates/silverware strewn about.

An earlier comment put it best. Having a short tribute to another player on the night your number is retired is like having a guest at your wedding announce to everyone that they are pregnant.

If I had to be stuck at one restaurant I’d just pick a diner (whichever local one you like best. There are no good chain diners). You’ll have breakfast, lunch, and dinner food to choose from. I love steak and all but being stuck at a steak house and eating it 3 meals a day would get old quick.

A quick Google search on his name turned up nothing but the standard Facebook/LinkedIn search results for me. I’m assuming he was the “Joe” for this event.

There are LAWS that restrict employers. There are virtually no laws that restrict unions. In fact, most laws protect unions.

I could give you countless examples of disgusting union abuses.
