Let’s give it to the Russians!

I’m the same age, also watched this at 18 with my college boyfriend & some friends. I’m from NYC, and the messed up thing looking back is that “Kids” didn’t seem that shocking or different from our social lives at the time. I look back now, as a parent, and I’m absolutely terrified of my boys becoming teenagers.

Creme de douche sounds like something you’d call the worst person you know. Or like, the best-looking douche you know.

So fun! I got a “0”! Think I missed my calling as a graphic artist or something.

My boys are 8 and 5, and we’re pretty lackadaisical with it too. We have had the same experience, that they get bored and look for more engaging ways to play. One amazing thing is that this summer, they have spent so much time together, they have become, like, co-dependent best friends with their own secret society.

That’s 2 of the 4 people. Now, to find those missing 2 people...

But back to the important news - what is Buttercup’s surprise?

I guess I’m the only person who excited about these thin Oreos. I actually prefer the cookie to the cream, so this is like my dream Oreo. (hides)

The Dr. Brandt Vacuum Cleaner pore thingy is amazing. Got rid of all my blackheads after the first use, and kept the skin on my nose less shiny and pores looked smaller for several days afterwards.

I actually love the cream-colored crushed-velour trousers. As a person who came of age in the early 90s, I remember when Marc Jacobs “invented” grunge the first time around, and still like his stuff (though this collection is meh). I just bought an awesome Marc Jacobs bag on 6pm on a big discount and can’t wait to

This is true. People always think my husband and I are brother and sister. That probably says something bad about both of us.

Isla Fisher is not as good of an actress as Amy Adams, but she does have the distinction of being the wife of Sasha Baron Cohen (love him). I also have a really hard time telling them apart - they have different color eyes, that’s about the only difference.

That makes me happy. The tooth fairy exclusively brings $2 bills and Sacagawea dollars to my children (in a land where they have friends who get $100 per tooth) so I’m glad to hear that others are also delighted by uncommon currency.

Eh, not everyone has it. My husband gets oral cold sores, but I’ve been tested at the doctor and don’t have the virus. We’ve been together for 11 years, so even if you’re in regular contact with someone with herpes, doesn’t mean that you’re going to get it. We are very careful though and don’t kiss if he has a sore

The best dry shampoo is one of the originals, Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo, the powder version (not the spray - they make one but I haven’t tried it, I dunno, maybe it’s good). They make a large trial size you can get at Sephora for $10 that lasts FOREVER. It blows all those drugstore spray dry shampoos out of the water.

Somehow I missed Clay Pigeons back in the day - is it worth seeing now?

I’d suggest that we form a support group, but we’d just end up boning the guys from the sexual addiction group across the hall.

Just have to say that I love your handle & avatar.

Hilarious! What is this from? That kid looks like my son & it’s cracking me up.

Forgot to mention that L’Oreal makes a great primer if you’re looking for one from the drugstore. It’s called Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream, but it’s really a primer, and an excellent one at that.
