How should I enjoy my weekend? Since there are clearly right and wrong ways to spend my time away from work...I need to know what will impress for my weekend plans.

You’d be a bad boss. Study after study shows your method of “managing” produces worse results.
Even without the studies...your idea is superficial af. I can do as much in 4 hours as half or my co-workers can in 2 days. And the quality is consistently better. But you’d say “Jim stays till 7 every day”, and can me first.

My co-workers think I’m a werido, but about a year ago I removed all my office decorations and personalizations. (Not that I had a lot.)

But I’ve found it much easier to separate my identity from my work. I take things less personally at work. And I have a lot less of “my” time occupied by worrying about work.
