Some. I'm not that big on porridges or beets, but the bread is fucking marvelous.

As the story of Mathias Rust shows, it's hardly an unprecedented act.

In my case, I'd definitely agree with @avclub-489acfbfa4d2424403acb81699170ac2:disqus that the internet, computer, and TV really fragment your attention span (I do read a lot online, but that's not the same as sitting there with a book). For me, part of the problem is that there's just so goddamn much for me to read

Because if there is, that game would immediately become a Day 1 purchase,

Just like there's only…wait…how many Star Trek movies are we willing to acknowledge, again? Are 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 the real movies, while 1, 7, and 11 depend on your mood?

Ah yes, Enter the Matrix. I personally have warm memories of Path of Neo, mostly because by the time it was made the Wachowskis had decided to not take the franchise so seriously, so we got things like Neo kicking ant people in the face in the Merovingian's Escher house, as well as the game's alternate ending for Revolutions

I liked Reloaded, but I would say it suffers from the same illness that's grown into an epidemic infecting all of sci-fi and fantasy (books, movies, shows, games, all of it) in the last thirty years: the tendency to turn standalone stories into self-contained universes. It's something I'm having more and more problems

Yeah, @avclub-5a1c0dcc8243c086c74ee944052f6f0f:disqus, it kinda is. Then again I'm not a Blake Edwards fan, so what do I know?

Kiloliters of real and virtual ink have been spilled trying to determine Heinlein's political orientation. I prefer to stick with the summation of "right-wing anarchist with a strong Social Darwinist" bent, with plenty of variation depending on the book you're quoting from. Of course, later in life, when it turned out
