I like that the show is doing flashbacks to the time in between Michael's death and the "new" timeline. I also think it's great the show is depicting therapy in such a positive and realistic way. After loss in my life, I went through a period of depression and the reframing and coping mechanisms I did through therapy

She also does 20-22 episodes a year. Of all the nominated actresses last year, only Tracey Ellis Ross does a full-season worth of shows.

Yeah..I kind of like the best-friends co-parenting thing. I suspect maybe Jane will have another love that is a completely different person…maybe even a couple before the show ends.

Gina's performance is so wonderful. Can she finally get some Emmy love for what is truly one of the most humane and heartfelt performances on TV?

Oh wow..this was simply a wonderful piece of television. As someone who has lost an S.O. (actually about three years ago just like Jane), I completely related to everything here. The writers and Gina (as always) did such a great job showing how grief and recovery intertwine over time. I loved Alba's gentle push

At this point, there are characters who are dead in the books who are still alive in the series.

Thank you…I think the emotions are universal, but I definitely was very vulnerable to its messages. I watched it again last night and I had the same reaction. But it also was almost cathartic watching it the second time.
